Our Vision

Our vision is to be able to live in a world where domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse is not accepted or tolerated. Our vision is to offer transitional housing for women and children of abuse — a place of healing, hope and love.

Counseling for adult victims and children, one on one and as a family will be offered, this will be provided through telephone, technology, and in person within the policy of HIPAA law. The vision of Awaken Inc. is to educate and liberate the victims by providing information that helps them recognize the signs of abuse, and how to live freely after this awful experience.

Awaken will provide a 24-hour Crisis Hot line, referrals, and medical advocacy. Other aspects of our vision are to offer GED Programs, job training, legal support, financial guidance, and resume` writing, and crisis intervention. Our vision starts with a voice, and with that voice God gave me a vision, and that vision is Awaken.
